Handmade patchwork wool poncho

Handmade by a lovely group of women working from their homes who would normally not be able to earn living due to caring responsibilities for children and other family members

Large size, floral pattern patchwork, tassel fringing all around the poncho, 100% wool, drawstring with pom poms around neckline to adjust fit, very warm and comfortable to wear

Size - width across 39 inches (100 cm), length from shoulder to longest point including tassels 39 inches (100 cm)

Product care

This product is recommended for Hand wash only separately in cold water. Not suitable for washing in a washing machine, even on a Hand wash cycle. Line dry. Do not use bleach. Please follow instructions on the label found on this garment (when applicable).

Most of our products are dyed by hand and due to this process it is advisable to avoid contact with light coloured fabrics and upholstery. We recommend hand washing in cold water prior to wearing. Please always wash this garment separately and inside out.

Gorgeous and warm

The colours on this poncho are even more beautiful than in the photos and I have had so many compliments on it. I love the fact that it's 100% wool and I don't mind it being a bit scratchy. Although it's an openwork crochet pattern, it's really warm and could be layered with a thin jumper for colder weather. It's a good size and I like the long fringes. The only bit I'm not keen on is the big chunky pom-poms, but I can tuck them inside (or might snip them). Really glad I treated myself - I've hardly taken it off since I got it so it will definitely earn its keep.
